For Paul de Leeuw (1955), music is a huge hobby and especially his passion. He likes different styles and genres.

Has played in several bands since his student days, in the late 70s. Starting as a guitarist in The Blue Cover band and The Floorshow; later as a drummer in the cover band The Double You See. He did semi-acoustic work at The Shack as a guitarist, later as a drummer / percussionist.

Done a few years of music theater for children and currently active as a musician at home!

For years and still being part of the 11-member soul band The Backedge Soultrain as a guitarist.

And since the end of 2019 as a drummer / percussionist in DFDD and completely under the spell of Cajun, Zydeco and Americana!
